ME/CFS can have a major impact on function, work, study, family life, and day-to-day wellbeing. Consultations are designed to allow time for careful history taking, review of prior assessment, and practical discussion of symptom management and pacing.
What to expect
- Consultations take place via Telehealth.
- The initial consultation focuses on diagnosis, symptom pattern, pacing, and a practical management plan.
- A specialist letter can go back to your GP to support ongoing care.
Fees
- Initial Telehealth consultation (45 mins): $375.00
- Follow-up Telehealth consultation (30 mins): $250.00
- Private insurance may cover part of the fees if pre-approval is obtained.
- If you are on a benefit, WINZ may help with fees as part of a disability allowance.
